The perpetual battle among the factions of Right and Left is not new. The following statement was spot-on accurate when initially spoken 87 years ago by one of the great thinkers of the 20th century. And little has changed since:"The whole modern world has divided itself into Conservatives and Progressives. The business of Progressives is to go on making mistakes. The business of the Conservatives is to prevent the mistakes from being corrected."
